Aquapark, Torremolinos

If the beach has lost its allure, this is a great place to have fun and get just as wet. The water park has a range of rides ·including the highest slide in Europe, the Kamikaze, at 22 metres. There is also a mini park designed for younger children. This attraction is open during the summer when buses link it to the town centre

Lobo Park, Antquera

The Lobo Park is a wildlife centre set in 40 hectares in the heart of Andalucia. Lobo is the Spanish word for a wolf; so no prizes for guessing the main attraction here. The park offers the opportunity to be a near as possible to a pack of semi-wild wolves. It is ,.. home to four different sub-species of wolf who roam in the natural woodland. The park offers guided tours, by 4 x4 or on horseback. During some summer months they also have a BBQ and "Howl" evening. There is also a petting zoo for the very young penguins diving for fish

Crocodile Park, Torremolinos

Situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol just 15mins from the town centre, This is the place where you can observe more than 300 of these prehistoric creatures. The park is home to the biggest crocodile in Europe, 600kg in weight and 4.6 metres long. There is an African museum, a bird reserve, education centre and other animals on view, and you even get the opportunity to hold a live crocodile!

The Caves, Nerja

The Nerja caves are possibly the most emblematic tourist attraction in Andalucia. The caves are completely natural and contain the world's widest column of rock. Today part of the caves have been converted to form a natural concert theatre where concerts and ballets are staged during the summer months. The caves date back some 5 million years and are recognised as one of the most important prehistorical archaeological sites in the world.

Selwo Marina Benalmadina

Swelo is home to the only Dolphinarium and Ice Penguinarium in Andalucia and the four major. species of Penguins are exhibited there. In the dolphinarium, there are also sea lions and other aquatic mammals. The Marina also has a display of exotic birds, an area dedicated to the snakes of South America and a crocodile bay. Swelo also has a large children's play area.

DRIVE safely in Spain

Driving in SPAIN can be a nightmare if you have not done so before. Its one of the few things the Spanish are fast at. So beware and make yourself aware of the rules of the road in Spain. Stay alert because not all drivers know or obay the law.

Remember to give way to traffic coming from your left when you are on the minor road. On a roundabout you do not have the right of way until you enter the roundabout.

As in UK seat belts must be used by all in the car and it is the driver who can be fined if anyone in the car is not using their belt

At dusk or in poor visibility (rain) headlights must be used. This also applies while in a tunnel even if the tunnel is well illuminated.
